PAL.MAR Hotel Tropical

We recently returned home after a two night stay at Palmar. The rooms and grounds are absolutely beautiful. Very clean and nice to have coffee, beach towels and chairs, and toiletries available. I especially loved the yoga/hammock area. There is limited seating at the pool area but I was able to get a spot by heading there early. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The location is great - just off the Main Street and close to the beach. A peaceful oasis in the middle of town. It is across from a property with a number of roosters, which we did hear first thing in the morning. We treated them as our alarm clock. It didn’t bother us but you may feel differently if you’re not an early riser or staying for longer. We would absolutely stay at Palmar again and look forward for returning to the lovely town of San Pancho.

I absolutely LOVED staying here. This hotel feels quietly luxurious – no extra frills but also fully equipped. My room was spotless, the sheets and towels were super soft, and the energy here radiates peace. From day one, the staff was kind and attentive. They’re so detail oriented! One day it rained and they had an umbrella waiting to lend me. The pool is also a nice touch for when you need a break from the beach waves. I would 100% stay here again. :)

This space was wonderfully done, clean, air conditioned and conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. Feel like it was a great value and would stay there again!

A small 5 star boutique hotel located in the heart of San Pancho. A leisurely walk to everything including the beach. A great deal of attention to details like aesthetics, hose at entrance to wash feet, filtered (safe) water in your suite! fridge with snacks/drinks, beautiful plants in yard, cool refreshing swimming pool, comfy lounge chairs to have a read or nap. Quiet at night and day with 24/7 attendant. Recycling and compost! The bed is very comfortable pillows. Great lighting. Our room was down near the pool yet private with greenery. Small grocery one block away. Many restaurants also close by. Strong wifi. Common room on the roof with hammocks and yoga gear.

Extended my stay in SanPancho as immensely loved it. Moved to this hotel due to same. Staff are super friendly, helpful, professional. Rooms are amazing; stayed in a smaller room and one with a full-blown kitchen. Even the smaller rooms have a fridge and coffee pot with complimentary coffee. Beds are super comfy and room clean. Safes in the rooms. Hotel is quiet and very secure. Pool is clean and in a jungle oasis. Hotel is in the center of the hub and a hop-skip and jump from the beach. Traveled as a single female and I would absolutely stay here again!!! Loved both the Hotel and SanPancho! A little gem in the heart of Mexico. Huge shout out to the manager, Mara. She makes the place very special.

This place was magical. Perfect start to our vacation, we immediately started to relax when we arrived. The rooms all have their individual touch. Our little apartment had a nice balcony to the front where we could watch the energy on the street. Other apartments literally have a tree growing in them! The pool area feels intimate and is very green. Everything was clean and the staff was helpful. Location is great, side street of the busy area. Personal favorite: take a right once you leave the hotel and some amazing food carts and a fun bar on the corner come right up!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location in San Pancho. Very nice, large rooms. Definitely check location of available rooms because there are a couple on the ground floor that are less private than the rest. Swimming pool is great – we enjoyed the beach but also having a nice swimming pool to sit by when we needed a break. Staff were very helpful. Saturday nights can be loud with music from bars. Roosters will wake you up and for some reason Crow all night but you would hear that anywhere in town. Extremely comfortable, very tastefully done and highly recommend.

Fabulous hotel! Felt like total luxury staying here. Amazing central location - close to all the restaurants, 2 yoga studios, and the beach (you can hear the waves when the town is quiet!). The pool area is wonderful - it was never too busy while I was there, and I liked that it felt private. The roosters take getting used to... They are truly a 5:30am alarm. Bring quality ear plugs if you want to sleep in. The staff was friendly and provided great guidance and services like free beach chairs and umbrellas. Also, each room has a reverse osmosis filter for drinking water so make sure bring a reusable water bottle - was so convenient that I didn't have to buy any bottled water. Comfortable bed, clean rooms... Would stay here again!
